The years behind us put you years ahead!
Multitech has been providing specialised shotblasting services to the construction industry for over 35 years. We are based on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, and our coverage area is Australia and New Zealand wide.
In 1982 Multitech purchased the revelatory BLASTRAC 115D Captive Shot Blasting specifically for the New Parliament House project in Canberra they were working on – this was the first time anyone in Australia had used this machine. This set the bar in the Shot Blasting Industry in Australia and gave Multitech the reputation as one of the leaders.
This innovation spurred Multitech on to diversify into creating both a Shot Blasting division and a Flooring division.
The Multitech Flooring Division added to their equipment with the purchase of two more #1665 ride on machines. The division soon boosted its tally to 8 shot blasting machines, diamond grinders, and high-tech spraying equipment.
By early 2001, Multitech were asked to travel to WA, and prepare the deck on the biggest aircraft carrier in the world at the time ‘USS Abraham Lincoln’. What an honour!
Following this amazing opportunity to showcase our skills, Multitech decided to once again be innovation leaders with the 2002 purchase of a state-of-the-art DH4800 machine in the USA – we used that amazing machine in America for a further 5 years working with the US Military, preparing aircraft decks and roads!
By the time 2008 rolled around, Multitech decided it was time to test the water in Australia and bring a brand-new machine over from the USA. Things started slowly, as potential clients were concerned about damage shot blasting may do to their concrete roads and pavements, but little by little the benefits were seen and people started to understand what exactly they could achieve with their skilled operators.
With the years of experience and masses of knowledge Multitech have, they are so excited about what the future holds. They have been fortunate enough to have completed hundred and thousands of kilometres of roads and tunnels throughout the eastern coast of Australia, and for multiple State Government Road and Transport departments.
Multitech would like to thank Main Roads QLD and RMS for helping them get the technology out there to the industry, and hope that they can continue their relationship with these commissions into the future.
The team at Multitech Shotblasting are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. They strive to provide exceptional technical support and advice, and they pride ourselves on our aftersales/after installation service.
They are constantly trying to find new and innovative products to share with their clients, so that their product range is as wide as it can be – the possibilities are endless.
Please feel free to contact Multitech Shotblasting for any information you need.
